| I am a TV presenter and the Creative Director of my own production company. My TV show was axed in January and I just wasn’t getting any commissions. I walked into a book shop just looking for something to give me motivation, guidance that would get me out of not only the crap situation but the crap thinking I was indulging in, I just couldn’t break the cycle. Then I saw the pretty blue cover of Brilliant Life and everything changed! I started reading it and applied some of the ideas immediately. Then I did the one day course. Within 3 months I landed my own Terrestrial TV show in the genre I never thought I would be taken seriously in and I landed three commissions that have changed the face of our company. On behalf of everyone at YHN I would like to thank you for the brilliant staff motivational events you facilitated during February. We've had lots of really positive feedback from people right across the organisation telling us how much they enjoyed the events. The opportunity to get together outside of work in a different environment and learn in a different way was a breath of fresh air for a lot of people. You managed to reach out and motivate the hardest to reach groups of staff and we've really been able to see the benefits back at the workplace. People were talking about the event days later. People really got on board with the theme of Brilliance and Great Customer Service and have come up with lots of great examples of making a real difference to both internal and external customers. | Many thanks for your input into our staff development day last Friday. It certainly made an impact. I have already received some very positive feedback from staff on the sessions you ran. One member of staff said that Friday was the first time in the 7 years he was worked at the College that he saw so many people smiling. This is exactly what I wanted. Being able to start the year on a positive note is a real bonus and I think we were very lucky or shrewd (?), to have been able to secure your contribution on what was the first day back for many staff. Another member of staff said they really felt "invested in".
